Hello everyone, [sigh] yes it is finally the weekend.
I hope your relaxing, revising and/or taking long spring walks in the sunshine (and no that doesn't mean walking on your treadmill with the window open - get outside, it's good for you!)
I have found myself focusing more and more on my blog at this time. As, as you know, i am still at school so during the week my work is my priority. Therefore the weekend will be the scheduled posting blog time (if you wanted to know).
I have always said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and are always shocked at people who say they don't eat it because they aren't hungry - i'm sorry, but how are you not hungry after practically starving yourself for 12 hours straight (while you were asleep). I am hungry all the time (actually, should i be worried about that?). Anyway, most people say they don't eat breakfast because they don't have time so here's a solution, to give you a yummy breakfast providing you with enough energy to fuel the start of your day but all done under 10 minutes!
Delicately delicious smoothie!

Delicately delicious smoothie!
As you can see in the above pictures, you start by putting 1 banana (broken into 3 pieces), a generous handful of blueberries (this is what gives the smoothie it's rich purple colour), about 6 strawberries with their heads (stalks) chopped off and half a chopped mango into the smoothie maker/food processor. Then add a small bunch of fresh mint - its not quite the time of year to get it fresh from the garden/allotment but shop bought in the packet works just as well.
Add a generous drizzle of coconut milk - it all depends on how runny you want it to be, you choose.
I love this stuff! As you can see on the packet, it's low in calories and no added sugar but this is definitely not the best thing about it. What makes it so brilliant is the effect it has on your food, and you. Its so light so when making pancakes for example, it works wonders. It makes them so light and fluffy you don't get that bloated feeling with cows milk. And it definitely doesn't make you feel guilty about what your eating.
So, next time you pop to the shops, tell your parents or your other half/friends to pick you up some because i'm telling you - once you go coconut, you'll never go back.

I know this looks alot like birdseed but this is actually a very nutritious rich source of protein and energy. This is the ingredient that sets apart Stick-it-together's Delicately delicious smoothie from other normal fruit ones. Add a large sprinkling of this to the smoothie maker along with your other bits of fruit. This specific mix is pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and pine nuts and you can buy them already mixed from your local supermarket - easy peasy!
Now it's time to whizz that thing. Whizz it until its smooth enough for you to like it (because whats the point in making it without actually wanting to drink it).I recommend whizzing it for about 30 seconds to a minute purely because of the seeds - you don't want it to be gritty. But remember, you can always stop it, taste it and if you don't like the consistency, whizz it for another 30 seconds.
Once the smoothie is ready, get a clean glass and a little spoon (to stir it if it starts to separate).
Also, why don't you lay it out on your windowsill in the most unreal fashion - this is my attempt of nice pictures and photography [little chuckle to myself while i try to make the glass look nice].

I have to say, this is a picture i'm proud of - i hope you appreciate the blood, sweat and tears i gave to achieve this edgy photo [another chuckle to myself at me trying to use youth speech and be cool].
As you can see, you now just need to pour it into the glasses and serve. If there's enough, you can give some to your loved ones for them to critique your Delicately delicious smoothie skills. But, we all know thats never gonna happen, why? Because if you have enough, why wouldn't you just serve up an extra big glass for yourself? Common sense, isn't it?
Anyway, you won't have time to give it away, you need to down it and go! Go on, GO!
No, i'm only joking. Have a nice breakfast and a nice day and i'll see you soon for some lunch.
Thank you for taking your time to read this. I hope it tastes good.
